As the darkened sun rises to its feet
The earth begins to shake
The sky begins to cry tears of blood
As the ground is soaked with hate

The eyes of young seem to change
Older and wiser than what they should be at this age
The arrow through a human's heart
Sends quivers up the old oak tree

One life taken every chance
During this slaying dance
Earth cries in pain
As it begins to die a bleeding death

The darkened sun still stands
Mocking our every move
Waiting to see our end

There it stands, all proud and bold
